Subject: Looking for Information

I am looking for information about a unit. My grandfather was 
in the Air Force, he died in a C-124 aircraft accident on Mount Gannett 
Alaska on Nov.22,1952.  He was in the 625th AC&W Sq. 10th Air Div(Def), 
Apo 942.  Can you tell anything about the unit. I am doing a search 
about his death and trying to get the Air-force to do a search and 
recovery of this plane and it's remains. I know this going to be 
hard, but I need to know what happen to him and the other 51 people 
aboard this plane.  If anyone can help I am grateful.
